Hekate: Her Sacred Fires

In recent weeks I have been lost in the world where only one word seems to make much sense: HEKATE. 

In November last year (2009) following a vision in fire, I decided to embark on what has turned out to be a very interesting, all consuming journey of discovery during which I have learnt as much about the Goddess Hekate as maybe I did in the previous ten years of study and work.   This new learning hasn’t been academic, nor has it been due to ceremonies or rituals, instead it has been through reading and experiencing the contributions from the 40+ contributors whose essays, artwork and prose make up the forthcoming anthology HEKATE: Her Sacred Fires. 

In its way this anthology is the sequel to HEKATE: Keys to the Crossroads which was published in 2006.  But whereas Keys to the Crossroads was a collection of material which all came from the UK and mostly from one community of people in the London area, Her Sacred Fires represents the voices and visions of  men and women, priests and priestesses, witches, sorcerors, devotees  from each of the six inhabited continents. 

Through their visionary insights, their experiential accounts and their artwork, prose and personal gnosis there is no doubt that anyone who reads and allows themselves to experience the content of this collection will be left changed in one way or another.

Finally ~~ Updated Biog!

I have finally found a few minutes to update my biography, which is always one of the most difficult tasks to do, its  always more interesting to write about something or someone else than yourself!

David and I are currently putting the finishing touches to PRACTICAL ASTRAL MAGICK and I am spending most of my free time working on the forthcoming HEKATE HER SACRED FIRES anthology which brings together essays, prose and artwork from more than 40 people from around the world who are dedicated to the mysteries of this enduring Goddess.  

 Its a busy time for us, but an exciting one !
